While writing this piece, I was thinking about how much you can tell about a person by looking at just their hands. The gestures a person uses when they talk, the way that their nails are kept, the way their fingers are slightly molded from the type of work that they do - all of these characteristics tell a story. This piece is a sort of illustration of examining a loved one’s hands - of zooming in closer and closer and uncovering a story in the tiny details.
